Cougar Mining Group has acquired Undercon’s 2014 Jug-A-O Loader. The acquisition was finalised in July, 2023, facilitated alongside Mark Doyle, General Manager of Hire Fleet and Material Services at Cougar. Undercon wishes Cougar all the best with the LHD Loader and is confident in a continued partnership into the future.
Back in 2015, Undercon made a strategic move to enhance our mining fleet by acquiring the 2014 Z1060 Jug-A-O Loader. This purchase through VLI marked a significant milestone for Undercon in our contracting capabilities. Over the years VLI continued as a close partner with Undercon, offering servicing and support for our loader.
The LHD Loader, was one of the last Australian-made loaders, making it a prized possession for Undercon. The Loader quickly proved it’s worth, contracting to various mines across New South Wales, including Integra and Moolarben Coal. With a 10-tonne capacity and supercharger upgrades, the loader is perfectly designed to meet the demanding needs of underground coal mines.

Crafted in MacKay, QLD, our Jug-A-O Loader Z1060 was one of the last Australian made LHD loaders. The machine strongly reflects the essence of Australian manufacturing through its quality and robust operation.
Versatile Custom Attachments
The loader was designed to accommodate custom attachments such as forklifts, buckets and duckbills, offering versatility across different mining applications.
Seamless Integration
The Jug-A-O Loader Z1060 seamlessly integrates with specialised Undercon mixing equipment including our Concrete Mixer Kibble and Wet Bag Conveyor. With most Australian mining sites already using LHD Loaders, our Concrete Mixer Kibbles and Wet Bag Concrete Mix are a simple integration.
