Concrete Mixer Kibble

Supply Freshly Mixed Concrete To The Worksite

Undercon’s 3m3 Concrete Mixer Kibbles were patented in 2011 and have over 12 years of successful use in underground mines. With a proven track record of reliability and durability, all our Mixer Kibbles are still in service today, representing great ROI and life of mine service capability.

Advanced Mixing Technology

The Mixer Kibbles use advanced mixing technology, fitted with a dual helical ribbon that ensures comprehensive mixing by moving the concrete mix laterally in both directions while simultaneously rotating radially along the outer ribbon’s path.

Operator Control

The transport machine operator controls the mixing ribbon rotation during transport, while the hydraulic operation of the two discharge chutes is done by the concreters at the pour site for precise placement.

Minimise Waste

Our fully enclosed design minimises spills and waste, plus our cleaning is quick and easy with 6 water injection points facilitating washouts.

Onsite Mixing System

Eliminating Concrete Segregation

The Onsite Mixing System provides project engineers with complete control over their concrete supply, ensuring high-quality concrete for surface and underground projects.

The system is extremely simple to set up with two interlocking sections, and can be disassembled and transported throughout the mine with ease.

Our Onsite Mixing System has two sections:

Our system can be scaled to meet the demands of any concreting project. We can service pour sites requiring 30m3/day to 100m3/day, all by varying the number of Concrete Mixer Kibbles used.

The system greatly improves project efficiency providing mines a fresh, on demand concrete supply with simple operation and low maintenance. Further, the system is a cost effective concreting solution and its transportability helps avoid costs such as drop hole installations. The Mixing System allows concreters to mix concrete underground, close to the pour site, eliminating painful logistics and increasing the workability of the concrete.

Concrete Pump

Hydraulic Powered Peristaltic Concrete Pump

Undercon’s Hydraulic powered Peristaltic Concrete Pump runs off the hydraulic PTO source from the LHD, Brumby or even Skid Steer Loader, it can be used anywhere in the mine a machine is allowed to go.

Concrete is drawn out of the hopper into the pump tube by the vacuum that is created as the hydraulic motor drives two rollers over the pump tube fully compressing it as it rotates around the pump housing producing the same action as squeezing a tube of toothpaste. Hose pumps operate at much lower line pressures than piston pumps therefore reducing stored energy hazards.

The Concrete Pump is best run using our Wet Bag® Concrete Mix.

Features

The pump is rated at 15m3 per hour but a more realistic production rate – spraying Shotcrete through a 2″ delivery line is one 3m3 Concrete Mixer Kibble every 20 minutes.

Hose pumps are extremely simple, safe and cost-effective to operate.
