Poly Fibre Reinforcement

Poly Fibre reinforcement is a very effective and cost efficient method of increasing the tensile strength of slabs plus fibres assist greatly in pre and post shrinkage crack control. The placement and fixing of steel reinforcing is a specialised trade and very few underground Collieries have access to trades qualified personnel.

Poly Fibres can be added to the entire range of Wet Bag® Concrete mix designs and are an easy addition to provide concrete reinforcement for every job and have an easy workability when applied to a concrete mix.

At Undercon we use BarChip Synthetic Fibre Reinforcements as we find that metal fibres can cause unnecessary WHS Risks in underground coal mining operations. For more information regarding BarChip Synthetic Fibres visit their site at  https://barchip.com/product/.
