Undercon is proud to offer support and security to communities during times of crisis. The recent flooding in July 2022 in the Hunter Valley left many areas, including the Williams River and Paterson River, cut off by rising floodwaters. This left small communities in the area vulnerable and in need of assistance.
Undercon stepped up to the challenge by offering our Ex-Army 6×6 Mack truck to transport stock feed and personnel to those isolated areas that were relying on SES rescue boat assistance or helicopter stock feed drops. The truck was able to travel long distances through flood water 1.4m deep safely on several occasions, providing essential items to the community and boosting morale.
Small communities are always hit the hardest during regional flooding, and at Undercon we recognise the importance of giving back to the community during such times. The Mack truck played a crucial role in providing the necessary provisions for livestock, ensuring their well-being and survival during the floods.
The community was greatly assisted by the SES Port Stephens team and their committed rescue groups, who worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of those most affected by the floods. Undercon is proud to have played a part in supporting the local community during this challenging time, and is committed to continuing to provide aid and assistance in the future.
At Undercon, community spirit is at the heart of everything we do. The company understands the importance of working together to support each other during difficult times. The recent flooding in Woodville highlighted the need for this community spirit, and Undercon was proud to be able to contribute to the collective effort in supporting the local community.
Undercon looks forward to continuing our support across local communities, reflecting the values of our company.
